Puny de l'Àngel is a collaborative wine from Louis-Antoine Luyt, who mainly makes wine in the Maule, Itata, and BioBio valleys of Chile, and Francesc and Joan Ferré of Celler Frisach, in the Terra Alta region of Catalonia. The wine is made at Celler Frisach, and the grapes come from their organically farmed vineyards.
The Wines
Puny de l'Àngel isa coferment of 75% Parellada and 25% Carignan from the Celler Frisach vineyards. The grapes are harvested on the same day and ferment together for 5 days on their skins, then are pressed to ferment and age in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. Bottled without fining, filtering, or added SO2.
