Dear Friends,
Today we awoke to some very cool JPS news. Eric Asimov's "20 Wines for Under $20" spring edition in the NY Times includes the 2014 Guimaro Blanco from the ancient and up-and-coming hills of Ribeira Sacra. Here is what Mr. Asimov had to say: Guímaro Ribeira Sacra Blanco 2014 "Ribeira Sacra in the eastern Galicia region of Spain, where the vineyards rise at harrowing angles from the rivers, is best known for its reds made from the mencía grape. But the whites, like this one from Guímaro, made with godello, can be superb. This is refreshing, harmonious and a touch exotic, with flavors of citrus, flowers, herbs and stone fruits." We are proud and humbled to have Pedro's wine featured in this lovely and refreshing piece. The JPS Team. Comments are closed.
