Those were the first words that I heard from a couple of American colleagues while visiting Vinos Ambiz for their first time back in 2010. (You can read more about that visit here.)
I had met Fabio just a few months ago and fell in love right away with his unusual yet insanely delicious Airén. (Read more here.)
Almost five years have past since that first encounter and God only knows part of the story. But hey! what happens in Carabaña stays in Carabaña... So thanks Laureano and Alfredro!
Anyway, today we are celebrating Fabio's new place (winery?) in El Tiemblo. A place that will allow Fabio to make more mouthwatering fermented juice in the future. That's right, MOUTHWATERING FERMENTED JUICE!!
Today, we are also celebrating the arrival of Fabio's new wines to our shores. Even though they arrived here a month ago.
Lastly, today we are celebrating the first JPS autobio!
